Hiring velocity tracks new job postings (by first_seen_at) and role closures (by closed_at) on a weekly basis.
A role is counted as “new” in the week it was first observed by our scraper. A role is “closed” in the week its posting was removed from the source ATS board.
Net change = new roles minus closed roles for each week. Data covers the trailing 12 weeks from generation date.
