Who You Are

You’re a thoughtful, curious designer who thrives at the intersection of clarity and complexity—someone who sees change as a design opportunity. You’re seasoned enough to know the right way to do things, but you’re excited by the possibilities presented by AI to reimagine software from the ground up.

You’re deeply collaborative—you value feedback, continuous learning, and clear communication. You bring humility to your work, care to your craft, and a genuine desire to help small businesses succeed with confidence—especially in moments of transition or uncertainty.

Above all, you believe in building with care and intention. You sweat the details not for perfection’s sake, but to ensure your work contributes to a product that just works.

About the Role

At Justworks, Product Designers play a pivotal role in shaping how small businesses interact with our platform—ensuring that every touchpoint feels intuitive, human, and built with care. As a member of the Experience Design team, you'll help create cohesive, accessible, and empowering product experiences that make complex tasks feel simple.

Whether you're designing workflows that help business owners onboard new employees, contributing to our design system foundations, or reimagining internal tools that support our customer service teams, your work will directly impact the lives of people who rely on Justworks to run their businesses with confidence.

You’ll work embedded in a cross-functional mission team alongside product managers, engineers, and researchers—contributing to the full product development cycle, from discovery to delivery. With a strong sense of craft and a focus on real human needs, you'll create experiences that reflect Justworks’ belief in doing right by small businesses and our commitment to being a relentless advocate for our customers.
