This is a senior, high-ownership payroll leadership role responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery for a large, multi-provincial workforce across Canada. You will act as the primary expert and governance owner for outsourced payroll operations, overseeing vendor performance while establishing strong controls, processes, and compliance frameworks. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage complexity across payroll, benefits, and statutory obligations while ensuring operational excellence at scale. You will also serve as the escalation point for complex payroll issues, driving root-cause resolution and continuous improvement. Working closely with HR, Finance, and external providers, you will ensure seamless payroll operations across multiple systems and jurisdictions.
