Product Manager - Global Football & Rugby

Your Role

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our Global Football & Rugby product group. You’ll work on Hudl Wyscout and Hudl Statsbomb, our comprehensive analysis and scouting tools trusted by Global Football coaches and scouts worldwide. You’ll help us scale user engagement across international markets, and deliver products that empower our customers to make efficient, impactful decisions to help them win.

This is a hands-on product role and we’re looking for someone with high energy to match our big ambitions in this space.

As a Product Manager, you’ll:

• Focus on delivering value to our users. You’ll understand the biggest user pain points, and scope how those can be solved in a way that benefits from Hudl’s existing product suite. You’ll lead key investments, with a heavy focus on delivering a product experience that customers love.
• Advocate for the product. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our customers and business needs, building trusting relationships with customers and senior internal stakeholders.
• Foster collaboration. You’ll determine what success looks like and motivate your squad, ensuring all are pulling in the same direction. You’ll also work with Marketing, Sales and Customer Support to create go-to-market plans.

For this role, we're currently only considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our office in London.

Must-Haves

• Experience. You’ve spent more than two years in product management, and you have a track record of shipping valuable customer-facing software.
• A communicator. You’re comfortable presenting and can effectively share your product roadmap with stakeholders. You can get buy-in on your ideas and can motivate others toward a common goal.
• Naturally curious. You never stop learning—you’re eager for knowledge and new ideas because that improves the way you work. You love building prototypes, testing, learning and evolving.
• AI workflow experience. You have experience using AI tools and building AI-powered workflows into products to improve customer outcomes and reduce operational burden.
• Data-driven. You have a passion for using data and insights to drive high quality decision-making, but also know when to take calculated leaps of faith.
• Sport knowledge. You are passionate about the sport of Global Football, and are keen to learn more.
• Collaborative. You seek to understand the strengths of those around you and have made each team you’ve worked on better. You relish tackling hard problems alongside your squad and building great relationships with teams.
• Ambitious and energetic. You’re willing to roll your sleeves up and get hands-on when necessary to make an impact. You’re ambitious and keen to develop your long-term career at Hudl.

Nice-to-Haves

• Commercially-minded. You have good business sense and know how to balance user needs with business goals.
• A strong negotiator. You’re able to communicate tradeoffs and generate buy-in on a solution that’s best for everyone.
• Market connections. You have either coached or participated in Global Football at a competitive level, and you can bring industry context and connections to the role.

Our Role

• Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time above any required statutory leave, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
• Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
• Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
• Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech you need to do your best work.
• Support your wellbeing. Depending on location, we offer medical and retirement benefits for employees—but no matter where you’re located, we have resources like our Employee Assistance Program and employee resource groups to support your mental health.
