DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash. We explore robotics and automation to transform last-mile logistics in the long term. If you have a passion for applying robotics solutions in a service used by millions of people, then we want to talk to you!
You will be a valuable and developing member of the Service Operations team at DoorDash Labs. You will build on your existing technical skills to perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work to keep our robot fleet and electric bicycles operating at peak performance, supporting our fleet utilization goals. This is an on-site role with expectations of 100% in-office presence in Fremont, CA, San Jose, CA, or Sunnyvale, CA.
We operate 7 days a week, 16 hrs a day to support Robot Operations. During training, you will be on a temporary schedule until your on-the-job training is completed over a few weeks. Once training is complete in Fremont, CA, you will move to your permanent shift assignment that will be based on business need, either an AM or PM shift with weekend coverage. To ensure you can plan accordingly, permanent shift reassignments are provided with at least two weeks' notice.
