Senior Recruiting Lead, High Volume

About Veho

Veho’s mission is to power the future of commerce by making shopping, shipping and returns seamless for everyone.

We are building a modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure designed entirely for the ever-evolving needs of ecommerce brands and everyday consumers.

Powered by next-generation technology and a vertically integrated supply chain, Veho gives brands and their customers unprecedented control over their deliveries and removes the pain from the ecommerce post-purchase experience. We make delivery the ‘extension of the brand’ and leverage it to create deeper loyalty and trust between brands and their customers, driving customer retention and lifetime value. Our rapidly growing client list includes leading consumer brands like HelloFresh, Zara, Macy’s, Sephora, and more.

To truly build an iconic company, we strongly believe that our people and values must be aligned with our mission. As such, we take pride in our championship team, merit-based culture. We seek team players who want to compete, win, make an impact and build a legacy, and we reward performance and impact players with generous equity and incredible career growth opportunities.

About the Role

The Senior Recruiting Lead owns high-volume hiring across Veho's Ground Operations and Live Operations teams that keep our network running 24/7. This leader models talent excellence by guiding a high-performing recruiter team while carrying a full req load, working shoulder-to-shoulder with senior operations leaders to shape headcount strategy, elevate hiring standards, and hit ambitious timelines. We expect you to come in to raise the talent bar and attract the absolute best; to develop a scalable hiring system, to build a candidate experience that lives up to our experience-obsessed culture; to turn our leaders into great hiring managers; and to build the high-volume hiring process entirely for the AI era. The High Volume Recruiting Playbook you operationalize should let quality, speed, and efficiency thrive as Veho opens new markets and scales through peak season.

What You'll Do

• Build and own the hiring system. Create, launch, and continuously improve our HV Hiring Playbook: funnel velocity standards, daily recruiting routines, role-specific hiring guides, decision rubrics, and offer and onboarding workflows. Run our Bar Raiser Program for High Volume, including interviewer calibration. Use funnel data to find bottlenecks and build the fix into the system.

• Bring AI and automation into every step. Implement automated outreach and follow-ups, AI-assisted screening, self-scheduling, and automated funnel reporting so recruiters spend their time on candidate conversations and closing.

• Own the candidate experience. Provide candidates with a world-class experience built on total transparency and active communication. Recruiters keep applicants continuously updated while giving them a complete, honest picture of the role—tracking feedback to elevate our standard every quarter.

• Lead the team. Coach and develop recruiters, set weekly goals, balance req loads across markets, and run weekly pipeline reviews and 1:1s. Proactively step in personally on critical searches.

• Deliver volume. Drive high-volume recruitment through structured hiring processes and targeted sourcing strategies. Optimize candidate pipelines using job boards, referrals, community partnerships, hiring events, and temp-to-perm conversions to successfully deliver on complex peak-season demands and new market expansions.

• Partner with senior operations leaders. Align on workforce plans and hiring bars, coach leaders to be strong hiring managers, recalibrate off-track searches, and push back on timelines or bars when needed.

• Bring the data. Track and report hiring performance by market and team, forecast recruiter capacity, and flag risk before it hits the operation.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, including 3+ years in high-volume or hourly/field operations hiring.

• 1+ years formally leading or managing recruiters (team lead, supervisor, or manager).

• A track record of building or significantly improving a recruiting process or playbook that other recruiters run every day.

• In-house experience at a fast-moving, operations-heavy company (logistics, delivery, e-commerce, quick commerce, or retail operations).

• Regular partnership with senior operations leaders (director level and above), including delivering hard messages on timelines, comp, or bar.

• Multi-market or multi-site hiring experience.

• Comfort pulling ATS data and building simple reporting to diagnose funnel drop-off and forecast hiring needs.

• Curiosity about AI and automation, and a bias toward building tools that give your team time back.

• A player-coach mindset: you lead the team and still close hires yourself.

• Calm under pressure through peak season, launches, and shifting priorities.

Nice to Have

• Peak-season or new-market launch hiring experience.

• Experience at a high-growth startup in logistics or last-mile delivery.

• ATS administration or reporting ownership (Ashby).

• Experience running a structured interviewing program.
